alcyonking, thanks for posting! For other citizens in Utah reading this, here is a good reply to send to the Senator: Dear Senator Hatch, I saw your recent letter to a constituent on the stimulus bill posted on-line. I couldn't agree with you more. What a wasted effort last year's stimulus plan was....giving people their money back from the government only to have them save it or pay down debt with it. What were they thinking? Using taxpayers to simply transfer money from the federal government to banks. Seeing that you agree that a transfer scheme like this would be a "continued disaster," please let me know if you plan on blocking the further transfer of federal money to our nation's banks under last October's bailout bill. Best Regards...
