One wayto do that is with quality programmingthat is familiar while being fresh. AtTheatre IV, we get that, so we chooseseasons that bring the best of familiarand fresh right to your door again andagain.

To say that we are in challengingeconomic times is quite theunderstatement. All of our expenses arerising but we want to help you keep yourcosts down. For 2011 – 2012, we are notincreasing our performance fees. Goodfor you and we hope, good for us too.
Invite Your Local, Stateand National Politicians
Arts and culture are taking a legislativehit these days but you CAN dosomething about it. Show off all youdo for your community by inviting yourelected representatives to our shows.They are important links to governmentfunding sources. Let them know thatthe arts and culture are vital to thecommunity and the nation and are a keycomponent of educating all our childrenas well as provide real, taxpaying jobs.

Tales as Tall asthe Sky

What is a Tall Tale? Tales as Tall as the Skyis the story o three children who gather intheir tree house at the end o the summerand complain that they have nothingexciting to do. When one produces a book o American tall tales, the three beginto explore the wild and adventurous stories o Pecos Bill, John Henry andHurricane Hallie, bringing to vibrant lie this exciting literary genre. Thisshow will encourage interest in books and reading.

The Little RedHen

“Who’ll help me plant the seed?,” asks theplucky red hen as she begins the processthat goes into making a loa o her deliciousbread. “Not us,” say the sheep, the cow, thehorse, and the pig. They all have better thingsto do. But, “ a hen’s gotta do what a hen’sgotta do,” and so our crimson heroine perseveres until her work is done. But,the tricks o the conniving ox combine with the hen’s common sense to addadventure and a sound moral lesson to this classic, eel good, oot-stompincountry musical. This show has plenty o audience participation.
