Turtle Cave
(beginner)If you have never tried adventure caving,exploringthe 'Turtle Cave'section of Clearwater Cave is agreat introduction to visiting Mulu's undergroundworld.Your guidewill leadyouonanexciting trip intothe river to follow its pathwayout of the cave.The 45 minute tour runs daily at 12.00,costs RM20per person but will becancelledwithout notice if thewater istoo high.
Racer Cave
(intermediate)The
walk 
to Racer is around 30 minutes or you canhire a boat to savetime andenergy.Your underground journey will be about 2 hoursdependingon the group size, the more people, thelonger it will take (maximumof 8).Your guide leadsyou through the cave climbing up and downthe passagewayswith the aid of ropes. This caverequires someupper body strength but most peopleare successful.Life in the dark will amazeyou; seeinsects that have adapted into strange shapes tosurvive in this underground world and Racer snakesthat have learned how to catch a meal as itflies past. Enjoy the great feeling that comeswithdiscovering your abilities and meeting a physicalchallenge.
Clearwater Connection
(advanced)A longer trip (4.8km) and depending on fitness ittakes between 6 to 8 hours. (larger groups takemoretime)Beginning in the show cave section of the Caveof the Winds adventurers leavethe tame pathwaysbehind and venture into the 'wild' chambers.Your route is over terrain strewn with bouldersthatrequire someclimbing upand clambering downmanymuddyslopes.Areas that are hazardous havefixedropes and gUidescarry personal ropes to assist youin sections that require climbing.For manythe 1.5km river section is the highlight as it is exceptionallybeautiful and refreshing after the hard caving.The Clearwater Connectiontour is not availablewhenthe water levelsare too high.
Lagangs Cave
(beginner)This is an ideal adventure for students and familygroups.An easy hour rainforest walk takes you tothe caveentrance to beginyour 1hour undergroundexperience. Equipped with helmets and torches,discover the mysterious dark world of cave insectsand bats:Scramble over boulders where ancientrivers carved their waythrough the mountain.Total time 3 - 4 hours.
Stone horse
(advanced)After walking 2km along the Rainforest DiscoveryWalk, climb 80 metres up the rough limestone cliffto where the 'horse-head' shaped rock marks thecave's entrance. Your 3 hour adventure undergroundincludes a 20m traverse and negotiating betweenlarge 50m deep holes. The passagesare large andopenwith 35mceilings, interesting pebblesedimentsandbeautiful speleothems.Total time 4 - 5 hours.
Sarawak Chamber
(advanced)A particularly challengingtour even for fit visitorsand experienced cavers.Taking one very full day,beginningat 7.00amyouwill follow the Summit Trailfor about 3 hours.Accessto the chamber is via GuaNasib Bagus(Good Luck Cave)along an 800 metreriver channelwith sheer rock faces rising to about50 metres on either side.After a 200 metretraverse anda steep boulder slopeyou comeface toface with the inky blackness of earth's largestchamber. Enjoy a short rest at the mouth ofthechamber, before the return trip.If the water levelsare too high, the tour will becancelledandthe groupreturns to Parkheadquarters.Total time10 - 15 hours dependingon fitness.
Lagangs Cave
(intermediate)Continuefor another 1 hour to the challenging150metre climb over boulders to the exit.Youemergeonthe mountainsideto clamber down100 metres tothe river level anda short trek to the coolingPakuWaterfall.Before starting the 2 hour trek back toParkHQ relax, enjoyaswimandsomefood.Total time 5 - 6 hours.
Drunken Forest
(intermediate)DrunkenForest is inthe Clearwater Cavesff'stembutthe entrance is located near the Summit Trail. During your 3 hour jungle walk thertAfre several streams to crosssoyouwill definitely get wet.This is a beautiful cave with many white straws,stalagmites leaning at a 'drunken' angle and cavepearls.
