InteGrade Pro & CPS:
The following Steps outline the process of importing the CPS grade information into InteGrade.Depending on the version of CPS you are using, some of the steps may be slightly different.
InteGrade Pro Export
This part is crucial for the import to work:
With CPS, you are able to export session data collected in CPS and export it into your InteGradePro grade book. To do this, you must have a Class Roster in CPS that exactly matches thenames of the students you have in your IG Pro grade book. For example, if you have a studentlisted as Robert Jones in your IG grade book, his name must also appear as Robert Jones in theCPS Class Roster you are using, not Bob Jones.Once you have a CPS Class Roster that matches follow these steps to export your session data:
From Inside CPS:
1. After your class has finished answering questions in CPS, go to the Reports tab from themain CPS window.2. Highlight the Session Title of the lesson you wish to export by clicking on it once, andthen click the Generate button. The CPS – Reporting window will appear on the screen.3. The names of students will appear on the left-hand side of the window. You can check onthe Select All box to have all students scores exported and/or the Filter out students whodidn’t respond box if you had students who were not in class for the lesson.4. On the right-hand side of the CPS – Reporting window, a listing of report options will beavailable. Highlight InteGrade Pro Export by clicking on it once.5. Click on the Preview button.6. A Notepad window will appear on the screen with all of your session data containedwithin a new Notepad file.7. Click on File and then from the drop-down menu, click on Save As. A Save As dialog boxwill appear on the screen.8. From the Save As dialog box, type in the file name you wish your session data file to becalled (e.g. Names of Capitols Quiz – Hour 1). Be sure to remember what you called thisfile and where you saved it.9. In the box Save as type, use the drop-down menu to select All Files instead of Text File.10. Click on the Save button. Your file will be saved with the same you gave it plus a .gbkextension.11. Close the Notepad window. CPS
From Inside IG Pro
1. After you have saved your session data into a .gbk file, open up IG Pro.2. Open the Class Spreadsheet that you wish to import the CPS data into.
