In the 1900's, Watts introduced its revolutionary combination temperature and pressure relief valve for hot water supply tanks to prevent dangerous explosions stemming from runaway temperature and pressure buildup. These valves continue to be an integral part of today's modern water heating systems. In the 1970's, Watts was the prime mover for the use of backflow preventers to stop the reverse flow of contaminated water from entering the potable water supply.

Today, Watts offers one of the broadest lines of flow control products to address the needs of: Water Safety and Flow Control; Backflow Prevention; Water Quality; Specification Drainage; Brass & Tubular; Automatic Control Valves; Potable PEX Plumbing; Quick-Connect Solutions; Marine applications; and custom products for OEM needs.

Watts Regulator is the foundation of the Watts Water Technologies family whose operations span North America, Europe, and Asia. Watts designs, manufactures and sells its extensive line of flow control products through the wholesale, do-it-yourself retail, and OEM markets. (Less)
