Sooooooooo, where in this document is the phrase "children of the marriage"? I've searched and find only a reference to "dependent." Legal definition of "dependent": 1) n. a person receiving support from another person. Hawaii law imposes a support obligation on a step parent.
Actually, nowhere in the bill of complaint or the decree is there any reference to two children being "of the marriage." There is a reference to "dependents" but a dependent is not the same as a child of the marriage. In fact, a dependent need not be a child; it is anyone whom the parties support financially.
