This activity will involve the older children in completing the building of an 8-footLEGO model, using equal-sized LEGO bricks, under the supervision and guidance ofspecialized personnel who will explain the construction process to them in order toachieve the desired results.Children will be separated into groups/teams (based on age) who will take turns, ona rotation basis and for an equal amount of time, working on the model. Each teamwill be responsible for completing a specific part of the model. In between turns, children can spend their time exercising their creativity at one of the many free-play tables (work stations) that will be set up.Upon completion of the construction, and after having admired their masterpiece, children will assist in taking the model apart, piece by piece, and putting the bricksback into boxes.
