FASCINATION ZEPPELIN
The Zeppelins opened intercontinental air traffic 70 yearsago. They brought passengers, freight and primarily mailover the oceans within two to three days. Instead of tra-velling for days on the back of, often badly careeningships, which frequently led to unpleasant seasickness, theguests of the Zeppelins enjoyed a quiet, luxurious flight. However, the reason for the journey was not the pleasureof the landscape but arriving at the destination as fast aspossible and at the best possible comfort.Today this task has been taken over by the much fasterairplane, enabling us to reach all important destinationswithin hours. However, we fly at approx. 1.000 km/h at approx. 10.000 m of NN height in gigantic airplanes witha few, small windows. Travelling as once JohannWolfgang von Goethe and Mark Twain experienced hasbeen completely left behind. To enable to show you the exquisite landscapes, thevarious cultures, the natural wonders and the fascinatingweather atmospheres, ZEPPELIN EUROPE TOURS AG wascreated. The discovery of slowness becomes once againthe path to the destination. With the modern Zeppelin NT developed in Friedrichs-hafen we give a taste of the future of the Z-airships.In the spirit of the preface we have, for the first time, prepared an exclusive flight tour from England viaNorthern France and Belgium to the Netherlands. Thus,we make the unique experience of the gentle Zeppelintourism possible, the unique exploration of towns andlandscape from the bird's-eye view in the leisure ofslowness. In cooperation between Aerwin Technologies, The Hagueand ZEPPELIN EUROPE TOURS AG, Zurich, we are now tur-ning over a new leaf in Zeppelin travels in Europe. This unique tour starts on historical roots, the English air-ship station Cardington near Bedford. So join us when weand the new Zeppelin NT (works number 4) stretch thebow from the time of classic airships to the modern worldof high tech airships. We welcome you on board to accompany us on thisfascinating airship flight. The tour of our 10 flight passengers starts with the jour-ney to Bedford near the historical airfield Carrington on26.8.2008. Here lies the cradle of English aeronautics, still imposingly represented by the two airship hangarsfrom the year 1916.On 27.8.2008 the NT will lift-off next to these "vete-rans" of the English Royal Airship Works. The destinationof the tour is an airfield near The Hague, where theZeppelin will ceremonially be welcomed in theNetherlands on 29.8.2008. In the evening an exclusivedinner with the captain on the royal airfield Valkenburgwill finalise the tour for our guests.
THE EXCLUSIVE WAY TO DISCOVER EUROPE
The passenger will then travel in a lavish gondola anddue to the large windows and the low altitude thetraveller can explore and enjoy the landscape. Our tour guide will individually look after you on theflights from England to the Netherlands and show youthe towns and landscapes gliding underneath you andprovide useful information.Experience yourself, that the pleasure of the gainedimpressions will soon be doubled when exchanging themwith other passengers! The tour flights will not be only simple sightseeingflights, they are embedded in an exclusive program foryou.
