bycontinuingtodemonstrateinOakland.ButPlaintiffsareconcernedfortheirsafetyatfutureprotests,becauseduringtwopreviousproteststheyhaveencountered,andsomeofthemhavebeenvictimsof,excessiveforcebyOaklandPoliceDepartmentpersonnelandotherlaw-enforcementofficersworkinginconcertwiththeOaklandPoliceDepartment.Thisforceincludestheindiscriminateuseofexplosivedevices,lead-shot-filledprojectilesfiredfromshotguns,nightsticks,andrubber-encasedbullets.Atleasttwodemonstratorshavesufferedextremelyseriousinjuriesduringthesedemonstrations:oneafracturedskull,theotherarupturedspleen.Thesepoliceactionswere
