You can now use your personal profle to share public updates with a large audience.In the past, many public fgures used profles to connect with riends and amily,and Pages to connect with their public audiences. Now, you can use your profle toconnect to your public audience too, with the Subscribe button.When you allow people to subscribe, anyone who’s interested can get public updatesyou share rom your profle, right in their News Feeds. This lets you share with abroader audience, while reserving personal updates or people you know well.You can have an unlimited number o subscribers, and easily update them rom yourmobile phone.

Should I use a personal profle with subscribers, a Page, or both?
Public fgures can now use two products to connect with audiences on Facebook:
Profles with subscribers
and
Pages
. You can use either or both products depending on your goals.
Profles with subscribers
are ideal i you want to personally connect with riends, amily and other people whoare interested in you. It’s un to receive updates rom riends and others that you want to subscribe to, and it’seasy to publish to your subscribers on the go. Anyone who subscribes to your profle can receive your publicposts in their News Feed.
Pages
have advanced marketing eatures or managing your brand or business on Facebook. Pages can bemaintained by multiple people on your team, oer insights to understand who your ans are, and let you targetyour posts by language and location (ex: tell only ans in New York about your show there next week). You canalso promote Pages with Facebook Ads and Sponsored Stories.Here are some specifc eatures o each product:

Go to your
Subscriptions tab
on the let-handside o your profle. Click
Allow Subscribers
to letanyone subscribe to your public updates.

I you don’t already have a Profle, visitacebook.comto create one.

Once you’ve allowed subscribers, people can subscribeto your public updates and choose what types ocontent they receive rom you. Go to the
Subscriberstab
on your profle to see who subscribes to you.

When you want subscribers to see one o yourposts, set its privacy to
Public
. I you don’t set thepost to
Public
 , subscribers won’t see it.

When you allow subscribers, a settings dialogue willappear. From here, you can choose who can commenton your posts and what notifcations you want toreceive when new people subscribe.
