Take OuT Teriyaki wiThVeggies and ChiCken

2 medium bowls1 large frying pan with lid3 or 4 sharp chef’s knives
1 ne grater
1 wide bamboo or silicon spatulaMeasuring cups
Ingredients
 3 Medium Chicken Breast thinly sliced (1 ½ pounds)1 small ginger root peeled and grated (2 Tbls)1/3 cup sugar1/2 cup toasted sesame oil2 cups pea pods washed and trimmed1-2 bell pepper washed, seeded and julienne1 small bunch green onion
1 head broccoli washed and cut into orets (1 ½ cups)
1 small bunch sprouts washed and trimmed3/4 cup Very Teriyaki sauce8 oz Soba noodles (or Udon noodles taste good too)
Instructions
Fill Medium sauce pan 2/3 full with water and cover.Place on back burner to until boiling then add noodles.Let noodles cook for 5 minutes and check consistency. Allow to cook for longer if needed, rinse andset asideWhile water is heating place the following ingredients in frying pan1/3 cup sugargrated ginger½ cup toasted sesame oil
 
Allow oil to heat up until it is hot but not smoking. If it starts to smoke turn down the heat and wait untilit is not smoking any more.Add Chicken to heated oilCook until meat is white through or 145 degrees is good because we will continue to cook it with theveggiesWhen Chicken is cooked add the following ingredients to the frying pan2 cups pea pods1-2 bell peppers1 small bunch green onion
1 ½ cups broccoli orets
Cover pan for about 3-5 minutesAdd 1 small bunch sproutsAdd 3/4 cup teriyaki sauce, or to taste, to the frying pan and stirAdd Noodles to the frying pan and stir gently a few times

Ingredients
1/2 cup our
1/2 cup corn meal1 Tbls Kosher salt1 egg1 cup non-alcholic beer12 Tbls ice waterCanola or Peanut oil for fryingVegetables for dipping washed, trimmed and dried
Instructions
Wash stem and dry veggies and set aside
Whisk together our, cornmeal and salt. Add pepper, garlic or shallots here if desired
In a separate bowl beat egg slightly, mix with beer and then add ice cold water
Combine with our mixture, just until mixed. It may still be a bit lumpy
Let set for 20 minutes. Heat up oilDip veggies into tempura and then set them into the hot oil. It should bubble a bitRemove when tempura is light brown. Let dry on a paper towel.
