Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable developmentorganization. As a secular, internationalnonprofit organization, we mobilize studentvolunteers and professionals to empowercommunities in developing countries withprograms that improve quality of life whilerespecting local culture and improving theenvironment.Between 2008 and 2009, more than 4,000volunteers from 80 GB university chapters inthe U.S., Canada, and U.K. traveled to providehealth and economic development solutions tomore than 50,000 beneficiaries through ourteams in Panama and Honduras.
