Dear Parents
Please see below our programme up until July, please note that
although scouts have moved to Tuesdays, there are still some
Thursday activities instead.. I hope there is something for everyone
somewhere. Please ensure you read the programme through and
return the slips at the bottom to me as soon as possible.

Pioneering - Balista Building & competition.

St. Georges's Day
26thThis will be held at Woodhouse Park and will be a Fairground
themed day. All members of the Group are expected to attend this, unless I am notified in advance. This is one of the two parades a year everyone is expected to take part in. Please see separate letter.
28thSort out what each person will do in final circus presentation,
and practice.

5thOrienteering Course around Kingsgate Park - Please take your
child direct to Kingsgate for an 8.00pm start and collect
from there at 9.30pm.
12thHike - Moving On Ceremony, further information will be sent
out soon.
ThursdayPut together final Itinerary for circus and discuss what

ThursdayCanoeing and Archery at Castle Quarry
11thThe following activities will be held at Castle Quarry from 7.00
- 8.30pm. Please note that numbers are restricted on
both of these activities, but everyone will get a chance
to do one or the other and therefore this will be decided
on 1st come 1st served basis. Numbers are 18 for
canoeing and 12 for archery. There will be a charge of
\u00a310, this covers the cost of the activities and 2
instructors.
