The Greatest Revelation

The greatest revelation you can receive is not what God wants to do for you but what He can do through you. For while beauty can bring joy, that can inspire others, when we pour out what it is that produces that beauty even those who did not think they could be beautiful realise that is a lie.

You see every one who is alive is living, so there has to be more to life then just living. Jesus said
He came to give us life and life abundant but how does this come? He does this by adding to us.
Before I came to Christ I was alone but when I came to Him He made me a part of His family. My
life was no longer just what I could produce, for my life no longer existed. I was ingrafted into His
life, along with all other believers. What I produce now is added to what the rest of the tree
produces.

My life is now the life of the tree. My source is the source of the tree. Now it's up to me to add to the tree and the more I add the healthier the tree is. As a result when the gardener comes the less dead wood He has to cut off. His job then is about shaping so the tree can become one organic living organism.

So I need to take what He has given to me, for everything was created by Him to start with, and be as diligent as I can to see it produce the best fruit it can. Then when He comes to prune the tree and cut off the dead wood then more life can flow into those branches that are fruitful. As a result the fruitful become more fruitful and those who are slowly dying can be renewed. This is abundant life.

The choice is then ours, we can live a life full of potential or one flowing with potential. One that looks good or one that tastes good. For if we don't let people taste that what we have is good, how will they know how truly good it is.

We need to remain in touch with those who Christ died for, not so far removed that a gulf is created
between us. Our fruit should be able to be easily harvested and not just admired from afar. We
should not pass on that which we no longer have any use of, like the fruit that falls to the ground,
but we should be willing to pass on our best. For what did the Father say to His children, taste and
see that I am good.

When farmers find a new variety of fruit that is hardier and more fruitful they clone it so to produce
more of them. Isn't it only natural for the farmer to want to have the best possible yield he can.
Given this truth won't the Father want to do the same. He doesn't send the poor out to spread the
message of prosperity, the sick out to spread the message of divine health, the vindictive to spread
the message of peace, where is the sense in that? He wants to take of what He has overcome in our
life so we can show others to do the same.

As much as this is His desire, He can only truly flow through a willing vessel. Are you a willing
vessel, are you able to grab hold of the revelation that it is not what He wants to do for you but what
He desires to do through you that gives your life meaning?

Before you go any further remember the parable of the talents, The one who was given the most
was given that because in the past he would have shown himself to be faithful. It is quite possible at
one point he also started out just receiving one talent but he showed himself to be a good steward.
So over time he was trusted with more and more.

What we have now is only a shadow of what we can have if only like that servant we remain
faithful to the end. For in the end everything will go back to its source, that which comes out of
corruption will return to corruption, that which comes out of truth and life will return to the author
of truth and life. Check the source before you accept the gift, check your heart before you give.
Let's live like we want more, not to keep but to give. Let's live hungry. Let's live not live like this is
