On Sept, 12th, 2007 Minister of State (Ministry of Minorities, Pakistan), Member of National Assembly, Member Parliamentary Kashmir Committee and Executive Director (Interfaith Dialogue & Research Center (IDRC), Islamabad) Prof. Mushtaq Victor visited Rays of Development Organization (ROD) office at Sargodha. Minister extolled the efforts of ROD team for the wellbeing of mankind. Addressing to the ROD human right activists, Victor encouraged ROD team and underscored on the need of honest and sincere efforts to uplift health and educational facilities in the rural areas, elimination of all sorts of discrimination on the basis of gender or faith in the society.

Federal Minister was accompanied by Voice Chairman Interfaith Dialogue & Research Center (IDRC), Deputy Chief Organizer International Human Rights Commission and Voice Chairman Ulim Mashaikh Wing Pakistan Muslim League, Malik M. Usman Ghani Awan, School teacher of St Paul High School Sargodha Mr. Bernard and several journalists.

State Minister arrived at the head office of ROD at 7:30 pm, under tight security. He was warmly greeted by Chairman ROD Ferhan Mazher and other ROD members. Ms Rosey Dewan and Chairman ROD presented flowers to the honorable guest.

ROD Chief introduced ROD team to the State Minister. Zimran Elias apprized the Minister about vision, aims and objectives of the organization. Mr. Imran Mazher enlightened the Minister about the works, projects and achievements of the Rays of Development Organization, Sargodha, Pakistan.

Mr. Nadeem Samuel displayed photographic and media record of the activities of the organization to the State Minister. Later Minister was introduced to the website of the organization by Mr. Jawad Mazhar.

Dialogues between the State Minister and Chairman ROD lasted for half an hour. During which he was informed of the difficulties, problems and limitations faced by ROD. Chairman ROD handed over profile of Rays of Development Organization to the State Minister Prof. Mushtaq Victor.
