And since the whole issue of the flesh market is taboo, victims are afraid to complain knowing that they will receive little sympathy. Sadly, and in many cases, the authorities are involved themselves making it all the harder for the poor girls to receive any justice at all. One can only pray for a more tolerant society, one that is more willing to look at the social ills for what they are instead of making them an issue of honour, and make constructive efforts to rehabilitate the victims.
