Assignment 11: Fictional Short story

Love Story

“Hey! Laddawan!” a sound made by Jenjira, a second year
medical student echoing over the refectory of Catholic University. She
ran toward Laddawan, who was sitting with Supattra and Ratsawadee
on a dining table at the middle of the canteen. They were studying in
the same major.

“What’s the matter, Jenjira?” Supattra asked.
“Archarn Siranee asked me to get you, Laddawan, to see her at
her office now” she replied.

“What’s so hurry? What’s happening? It’s still lunchtime, and we
just had lunch, no desert yet! Have you done anything wrong,
Laddawan?” Ratsawadee asked hurriedly, turning to Laddawan for an
answer.

“I think I know it,” Laddawan said shortly. She stood up,
gathering her bag and books, starting to go to Aj.Siranee’s office.

“Hey! Wait, wait, wait! Can’t you tell us anything? Anything you
are going to talk with Aj.Siranee,” Supattra said curiously. She tried to
push Laddawan to sit back on the bench, but she denied.

“All right! I’ll tell you. Come with me, then,” Laddawan
answered so that no further questions were raised.

“It’s gonna be something serious, or worse. What have you done wrong, Laddawan? I haven’t seen you be away from us except the time you go home,” Jenjira made a guess. No one answered until they were right in front of the office of Aj.Siranee.

“Knock-knock! Aj.Siranee, it’s me, Jenjira. Laddawan is here as
well.”

“Come in,” a sound of a young woman answered from inside the
room. Aj.Siranee was an advisor for Laddawan, Jenjira, Supattra,
Ratsawadee, and other second year medical students. She was a small
woman, wearing brown glasses and black curly hair. She was said to be
the only teacher among others the students fond of seeking consultancy
with.

“There you are, Laddawan. Take a seat. I think you want me to
help you with something disturbing you, isn’t it right?” Aj.Siranee
greeted. Laddawan nodded. She took a seat opposite to Aj.Siranee and
said nothing.

“Ah! What are three of you doing here then, Supattra,
Ratsawadee, and Jenjira? I’m not gonna kill your friend. I just have
something to ask Laddawan,” Aj.Siranee turned to the rest of the girls.
The girls looked at each other, not knowing what and who to say.

Supattra then said, “Um, we are just curious of what sort of
things Laddawan and you are going to talk. Let us be here with you,
please, Aj.Siranee. We won’t …,”

“All right, then. Laddawan, I think you know why I ask you to come today. Having a look at your score record, it has failed to more than 0.3 of GPA. And I know that it’s not that you are now a second year, nor you are not yet familiar with undergraduate studies. There must be something behind. Can you tell me what it is?” Aj.Siranee introduced what had been her question and why she wanted to see Laddawan so far.

“Yes, I know. There certainly is something behind it. And if you,
Aj.Siranee, and all of you promised to keep it as a secret, I would tell
you everything,” Laddawan said.

“Of course. I keep your words a secret. Don’t worry, I won’t say
this to anyone, will you girls?” said Aj.Siranee, turning to ask Jenjira,
Supattra, and Ratsawadee.

“Yes, we are friends. Secrets can’t be sold among friends, can

they?” Jenjira replied, others nodded.
“This is how the story begins,” Laddawan started to speak.
When she was a high school student, there were many men

around her. Not because she was flirty, but she was a very pretty girl in
