The weight of water present in unit volume of
moist air is called Absolute Humidity. It is expressed in
grains per cubic feet or grains /cubic meter.

R.H. is a ratio of the actual vapour pressure to
that of a saturated vapour pressure at the same
temperature.

R.H. is also defined as the ratio of absolute humidity of air to that of air saturated with water vapour at the same temperature & pressure.
