Mechanical Properties:

Water molecules reduce the forces holding the molecule
chain together is a result of which fiber becomes weak .But the
strength of cellulose fiber increase by swelling. It also affected the
extensibility, flexibility & crease recovery.

Electrical Properties:

The ratio of resistance of low regain & high regain may be up to 100000:1 that\u2019s why the design of moisture meter is based of the measurement of resistance value of textile fiber.
