Mizo tribes are settled everywhere like Burma,Bangladesh, India and other parts of the world. Theycome back to their motherland – Mizoram state -whenthey face problems. The government of the Congressparty welcomes all the refugees being oppressed, headded.
He said "Although we welcome all the Chin tribesfrom Burma, we have to take action against any kindof unfair means like smuggling and illegal matters."

anniversary of the Chin National day wasorganized by Chin religious organizations andpolitical parties in Mizoram. The day 22 February wasincidentally the 22
nd
anniversary of Mizoram state dayalso!
Traditional and cultural dances were performed on theoccasion and there were around one thousandparticipants. It concluded at 4 p.m. successfully.
The anniversary was held simultaneously in 13countries on the same day by Chin tribes. In Hakhastate of Burma, it was also held at U Vawm TuMaung play ground.
In fact, the Chin National day was derived fromremoving the landlord system on 20 February 1948 by5000 Chin people in Falam Township in order toestablish a democratic system in Chin state.
