Building effective leadership across church boards requires knowledge of whatis required to be a faithful leader. With at least 300,000 Protestant churchesand Christian churches in the United States (Hartford Institute study), howmany of their leaders feel equipped for the 21st Century? As a ministryconsultant, Lynette Hawkins works with pastors, ministry leaders, faith basednonprofit organizations and communicators. Lynette offers practical insightand meaningful information on developing leadership that focuses on the work of leaders. She has conducted seminars for hundreds of leaders nationallyacross faith traditions.In her early years on her church’s governing board, she mirrored the typicalnew leader who had no clue on how to lead ministries faithfully.
