Teaching aids is important to make teaching and learning activities more interesting andfun. The common teaching aids for the topic of time is real clock or round face model.Therefore as a teacher, you are asked to(a) build clock model based on your creativity and it must be appropriate with theactivities that could relate between minutes and hours.Teachers know that students learn in a variety of different ways. Some are visually orientedand more prone to acquire information from photographs or videos. Other children do bestwhen they hear instructions rather than read them. Teachers use teaching aids to providethese different ways of learning as well as to improve or reinforce skills and to makeinstruction interesting and fun. “My talking clock Teddy Bear is a suitable teaching aids for the topic time because it has element of fun form children. MATERIAL:
A printerPaper plateGlueScissorsFastenerNumbers 1-12 and arrowstemplateConstruction paperColour pencilsTeddy bear template
INSTRUCTIONS:
Print and cut out the numbers 1- 12 and arrow template. Take a paper plate and paste thenumbers according the point that teacher marked. Firstly, paste number 12 at the top andnumber 6 at the bottom and the number 3 and 9 at the correct place. And the, paste thenumbers 1 , 2 4 , 5 , 7 , 8 , 10 and 11. Cut out the two arrows. Make a small hole in thecentre of the plate to insert the fastener which will hold the hands in place.Paste the teddy bear template on a construction paper. Cut out the head, arms and leg.Glue them on the plate to create the teddy bear. The plate represents the teddy bear’sstomach. Colour the teddy bear.
