DOJ Memorandum: Status of Certain OLC Opinions Issued in the Aftermath of the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 |
damn right they're reversing their opinion. None of what the DOJ did under GWB was "legal" under the Constitution. Admitting your guilt does not absolve you of any consequences though. Indict Bush for war crimes now. Peace, - JBG |

Keyserling & Losey - Chanse and Choice |
this work is absolutely incredible! Some of the most advanced theories on mysticism's applications to metaphysics I've ever seen! This work gets rave reviews from me. The application of the Ennegram is true to its original intent as a psychological model, however applying the basis of using sacred geometry to explain the relationship of the mind to the matter of modern phenomenology is new, and an exciting field to see growing. Rarely do such vast sums of data occur in such a visually revolutionary way. Kudos to the author. A blessing for our times. Peace. - Jon |

Magical Advice Pt. 4 -- From Mysticalgod |
Absolutely fascinating work, mysticalgod! The Azoetia appears to be a very good grimoire by AOS (Austin Osmand Spare) and the Viridarium Umbris, some sort of tarot based on using Norse-like glyphs with an herbological hierarchy to create spells similar to Haitian voodoo. Where did you find these? Four and a half-stars out of five (the compression of the urls into pdfs leaves a little quality to be desired). Peace, - Jon |

Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite |
the best online edition I've seen of Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike, one of the most important, well-known documents on F&AM. Thanks wombat23 for the free download. A great book, in the best online edition available, for free. Thank you. |

Comment on Thoughts on Fire by Leon Basin
Posted on June 11, 2009
Leon manages to capture the experience of being in a place equally as well as he delves into the deepest issues of philosophy. That's a rare quality in authors nowadays. Mixing the descriptive elements of fiction with the heaviest questions of our non-fictional reality in exactly 50% equal parts is the rare gift of this talented young author. I too rarely get to vicariously experience the zen of a bicycle ride, or directly study the mystery of "Why?", at all in most modern writings, let alone enjoy both in the same work by a single author. "Thoughts on Fire" challenges me to think beyond my own tunnel-vision, and for all these reasons, Leon, I thank you for this work.
