An extraordinary book in the field of physics made understandable to laymen. It made a very successful attempt to bring to light of important matters of present day state of human understanding in physics.
Nice to see that others share a keen sense of what is worth reading.
Great Book. This is a great example of popular science writing. Although published in 1962, all content is still relevant with the exception to the understanding of atomic properties.

Practically, the first book that I read on science that no teacher required me to read. Nothing could have made a scientist of me, but this book managed to pique my interest more than any textbook did. Good show!
