About this ebook
The devil went down to Georgia . . .
Nicki Styx has always known that the devil's in the details—but does he have to move in next door, too? Worse, he won't take no for an answer. Nicki would never leave her beloved boyfriend, ER doc Joe Bascombe, but hell hath no fury like a devil scorned. He's determined to make Nicki's life a living hell—even if it means exposing Nicki as an unwilling ghoulfriend to the dead.
Now, just when she was getting used to being able to see and hear—and help—spirits, Nicki's got a whole new set of problems. With ghosts descending from all sides, the bereaved knocking down her door, and Joe trying to take things to the next level, Nicki may finally be in over her head. It would be so easy to dance with the devil . . . but if Nicki crosses over to the dark side, she may never leave.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5When I picked up this book, I didn't realize it was book 3 in a series. I loved Nicki's character, and the depth of the relationship between her and her boyfriend. I'm definitely looking for books 1 and 2!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5thought the first two Nicki Styx books were pretty good, but I didn't think they were standouts. "You're The One That I Haunt" may just change my mind. In the third installment, Nicki is momentarily taken over by the ghost of a recently deseased girl, who happens to have just died at the hospital. Guess who was her doctor? Joe Bascombe, Nicki's boyfriend, of course. When Nicki in her possessed state, declares that Joe killed Crystal, on tv, all you know what breaks loose. Of course all of this is being helped along by the Devil himself, Sammy, who has decided he could use Nicki's seeing the dead powers for nefarious purposes. The highlights of this book are always the scenes where Nicki is dealing with ghosts. However, the supporting cast was stronger in this installment. I had previously stated that Even, her gay best friend, was too cliche. In this book, he is a hoot and his devotion to Nicki shines through. Tranny Granny is back in a couple of great scenes as well. Showing up a little less this time, is Nicki's sister, who I am not overly fond of anyway. This book never slowed down. Nicki's belief system, while never being preachy, is sweet enough to have us wishing all the ghosts hurry up to meet the light. Ms. Garey seems to have hitten her stride here, and I can only hope she continues to keep the hauntings coming.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoy this series by Terri Garey. While I love urban fantasy and paranormal mystery, I really don't care for paranormal romance. For some reason, this is listed as paranormal romance, but I don't find it to be a romance at all. I would place this firmly in the paranormal mystery genre. The characters are very well developed, likeable and believable. The story line instantly drew me in and kept me reading, nonstop, until the end. This is a good quick, fun and mildly creey read. I hope to see more of Micki Styx in the near future! :)
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was much better than the last one....
We didn't have to deal with Kelly (Nikki's twin sister)
The Devil is back, but we get to hear his side of the story
There is a child molesting preacher (who is dealt with in a most interesting manner) and the ghost of the recently dead anorexic/bulimic young woman that she became
Joe (Nikki's) E.R. doctor boyfriend has been suspended and the hospital's attorney is making a play for him
And Bijou (Nikki's grandmother/father) is in town with her coven of Savannah belles to help Nikki with the other bad stuff that's floating around. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Nikky can see dead people and sent them on, her boyfriend, Joe Bascombe is an ER doctor, the person who brought her back to life and this time a vengeful ghost is getting him in trouble and with the devil trying to attract her. Her life is complicated and messy and a bit manic. It's not a bad read, but didn't push me to read more in the series, I wouldn't reject reading more but not pushed to find them.
