Reviews forA Short Course in Intellectual Self Defense
A good little synthesis of data interpretation, from statistics to charts to syllogisms. Word of warning though, at the end, pushes its agenda a bit too far, blabbing about media concentration theories and gets in a cynic mood; tone of the book shifts 180°. As an example, author says reality TV is stupid, well, that's his opinion (and mine as well), but I believe it does not belong in a book that is supposed to be about reasoning and analysis. Fortunately that part is less than a sixth of the whole book.read more
