About this ebook
A side-splitting collection of comic strips from one of the most popular cartoonists in history!
Legendary cartoonist, Johnny Hart, created two of the most popular comic strips in history: B.C. and Wizard of Id. When he became a Christian in 1984, Johnny turned his trademark wit and humor to matters of faith. Johnny passed away the day before Easter 2007 while at his drawing board. “This book is a dream that Johnny and I shared,” says his wife, Bobby. “I knew I had to finish our dream.”

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This small book has been compiled with Johnny Hart’s Christian themed “BC” comic strips. The majority of the strips in this book are in color and where created after Mr. Hart became a Christian. This book is a refreshing read that allows you to contemplate the religious insights that may be gained from each strip with his humorous presentation that will make you laugh or at least place a large smile on your face. Through his strips Mr. Hart shares his beliefs in God and His teaching’s and shares them with us with his well-known wit and humor. This is a very quick read and one you will read more than once.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I grew up reading Johnny Hart's "BC" comic strip and was interested to revisit it here -- a collection of his religion-themed strips -- with an adult, 21st-century perspective. As a group, the strips are still clever (often punnish), insightful and inspirational, curious and philosophical. My favorites read like a small prayer. It's ironic that Hart named and set the strip in the BC ("before Christ") era, since it was also BC for him personally (he became Christian 26 years later, in 1984). Other bits of Hart's biography are also included, as well as backstory about a few of the strips, plus his final strip. There are Sunday and daily comics, most in color, all printed on smooth, silky paper. A nice gift book for religious Christians.
