    Diane Allen was born in Leeds, but raised at her family's farm deep in the Yorkshire Dales. After working as a glass engraver, raising a family and looking after an ill father, she found her true niche in life, joining a large-print publishing firm in 1990. She now concentrates on her writing full time, and is Honorary Vice President of the Romantic Novelists' Association. Diane's novels include A Precious Daughter, The Girl from the Tanner's Yard and The Miner's Wife. Diane and her husband Ronnie live in the Dales market town of Settle, and have two children and four beautiful grandchildren.

      I loved learning about Padre Pio, and remember that we are more than flesh and bones. Padre Pio gave me hope beyond mere human facts.

      Made me cry a lot. This book draws you into prayer and love for Padre Pio. It makes you want to have a deeper relationship with God and have confidence in prayer. Above all, it made me realize even more just how much God loves us unconditionally and He continuously draws us to Him despite our sinfulness. A must read for everyone who got lost, who is looking for the right path, who is wavering in faith or has lost it, who feels alone, who is despairing, or for one who is looking for a loving and caring spiritual father. To God be the glory!
