- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Same/similar pros and cons to the first book. I'm sorry but at what point do you say, "death be damned, I'm not going anywhere until you explain everything."
Additionally, if every time I went *anywhere* alone a rape-y faerie should up, I'd make people go into the bathroom with me and WOULDN'T wander off alone.
Finally, the breaking of the fourth wall kept pulling me out of the story. Who's she telling the story too? Is she just talking to the voices in her head? It's a similar complaint to the music rant in my updates. The author is telling a good story, nd these feel like sloppy short cuts. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this series and this book. I wasn't too sure on the first one but bought the second one because I wanted to see what happened. I ended up buying the whole series and enjoying them quite a bit. A very fun and enjoyable read. Jessica Sorensen just seems to get better and better with each book she writes.
