About this ebook
In 12th-century England, love isn't part of the marriage equation. But Lady Blissot de Woodville adores her younger sister too much to see her suffer such a fate. Instead, Bliss recklessly switches places with her sister—and marries a total stranger under false pretenses! Fortunately, she soon discovers she shares a rare passion and genuine love with her new husband, the ardent Lord William Reynard. Yet the happier Bliss becomes, the more her secret weighs heavily on her heart...because one desperate lie could destroy everything she's come to cherish.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is an entertaining quick read with a great twist at the end. Written in a way to truly draw you into the lives of the characters without giving away the ending. Well worth the time to read.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I got this book though the Early Reviewers program.I enjoyed this novella about family bonds and love. I enjoyed Bliss's story and the lengths she went through to help her sister. It is a good short read, but I felt a bit cheated. I was hoping for a longer story and maybe there will be a sequel?
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Sister switch places so one can marry for true love while the other takes her place in an arranged marriage. Was the is good? Yes. However it was totally predictable. A cut & dry, simple love story. (I read it in 30 minutes.)
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I got this book though the Early Reviewers program. I'm glad I did, because I think I would have been disappointed if I had purchased it.First of all, it's short. Like one part of a Harlequin three-in-one Blaze book short. Second, because of this, there is very little in way of character conflict or development. The plot is one denominational and all the parts that could have been interesting are glossed over.::Spoilers::Take for instance when the husband in the story finds out that the woman he married, who he believes he's fallen in love with, has been lying to him from the moment they met, he is totally cool with it. An opportunity for great emotional conflict totally ignored.Basically, a fun little read if you can get it for free, or don't mind spending a few dollars for maybe an hours worth of entertainment.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5CAPTURING BLISS by Nicole Hurley-Moore is an exciting Medieval Romance set in 12th century England. Lady Blissot de Woodville would do anything for her younger sister, including marrying a Knight, neither of them knows, but has been ordered to marry by their uncle. Lord William Reynard, marries Lady Blissot “Bliss”,not knowing she is not the one he was supposed to marry. Bliss’s happiness could be destroyed when the truth becomes known. Lord Reynard and Lady Bliss soon find passion, desire, and happiness. But it could all the threatened when Lady Bliss’ sister and her new husband come to visit and the truth becomes known. A quick read! I enjoyed “Capturing Bliss” from the first page to the last. This was a new author to me,but I hope to read more of her stories. Pick up “Capturing Bliss” you will not regret reading this wonderful story of love, romance and Bliss. Received for an honest review from Library Thing and the publisher. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I enjoyed reading Capturing Bliss. Untill the end, I turnd the page and nothing, it was done. I felt there should be more to the story. I felt this way about the present day story line and the past story. In Capturing Bliss, Blissot (Bliss) trades places with her sister Ivetta so Ivetta could marry her true love Adelard. Bliss marries Lord William Raynard, and does not tell him her real name. She worries about this till one day her sister and new husban show up for a vist and spill the beans. Bliss thinks that William is mad about this, but he's not and all is well between them then the story end and im left wanting more!My favorite line in this story was the last line in the past part of Capturing BlissFor I have found and captured my bliss... And no man can ask for more than that.
