About this ebook
It is with great pleasure that I'm able to bring you my eBook guide, I never thought I was going to make it. My Home Video Biz was a blessing for me. Once I got through that nightmare of being jobless and near homeless, I knew I just had to help others do the same. It's nice to know that it will be easier for you than it was for me, because of this eBook guide.

But first and formost, I must thank -
"you know Who" for this wonderful opportunity, no, this life saver. And, aside from thanking my last employer for laying me off, then going out of business, and thanking the labor people for stopping my checks, as I'll mention later here, I should thank my parents. They, however, like my last employer and the labor people, were more about lessons on 'what not to do' in life and in business, instead of being a mentor to admire and copy. But hey, they all did their best at the time, at least I hope they did.
Then, in whatever order you like, I thank JR Hager for passing open windows, not giving up, and asking for help when he needed to.
There is an immeasurable distance between late and too late.
-Og Mandino
I
love this thang !
And so, what really turns me on now is, I'm
able to share this with You! That's right, 'You' with a capital 'Y' !
Introduction
(desire is everything)
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the things you did, so throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover."
-Mark Twain
If my boss, at the tee-shirt printer place, wouldn't have 'laid-me-off,' and I thank him very much for that, and if the labor people didn't stop sending me my checks, and I thank them as well, I wouldn't have had this truly wonderful experience. And you probably wouldn't have had this opportunity I'm sharing with you now, either. So we both owe it to them. But it was the government labor people more than my last boss, that really started the fire in my pants. Thankfully I was forced to start thinking for myself, and that changed my 'employee mindset' to a 'self-employed mindset' very quickly. It was like the birth of my Daughter, hey, you're an adult now, dude !
.... is what I told myself.
I know first hand, as I've written in some of my Hub Pages (johnwindbell is my pen name) nothing is done of any importance and value until there is no 'safe harbor' no 'comfort zone' and there's nothing making you satisfied, lazy and content. I should know, I was there. I lost sleep there for a long time. And, frankly, not to worry, it is much harder to kick the addiction of 'looking for help' and/or a job, than it will be to find something that You enjoy that doesn't feel like a job. Then one day, like me, maybe you'll turn around and say, why didn't I loose my job sooner?! Look at all the time that I wasted! All the time I've been hiding myself from myself!
At least it saved my fifty-year old butt! And not many employers would hire a person my age anyway. This is what I was looking at. This kept my pants a flame, got me up early in the morning, for sure! And I didn't have that attitude when the UC Checks were in the mail, far from it.
Looking back, it was just too easy, a sacrilege, to let somebody take care of me instead of me, but luckily, one day it all stopped. And instead of regretting it and worrying and trying to get another job to replace it, so I can be back in the same old 'BAG' again, this was my chance to take care of myself. And, as I tell my clients on our first meeting, it was time for JR to bloom,
(the more personable the better) and start producing [VIDEO] Introductions for small businesses, friends and family.
Most of the shadows in this life are caused by standing in ones own sunshine.
-Emerson
I'm reminded why the US Park Services won’t allow tourist to feed the animals; because the animals will grow dependent and wont have the initiative to take care of themselves!
Now, this animal called ME, is taking care of me, like it should be. I am so proud of Me. And if I can do it, or if anybody else can do it, YOU can certainly take care of You. YOU, being here, have already taken the first step, for You. This may sound trite and childish to you, but I'm 'dead-ace' serious. Maybe if you wouldn't take things as trite and childish all the time they would work for you. I happen to believe there's a reason for everything, and there is no luck. Your eyes are here to give You this opportunity, plain and simple. And if the other 'bag' you hung on yourself years ago is, oh, I don't have any talent, I could never do that
- well, I say, screw talent,
know why? Because it's a 'cop-out' and we can get hung-up in it and it will harm our creativity. Just like a Doctor who goes by the book and has no open
