About this ebook
WHAT THIS BOOK HOPES TO ACHIEVE
For the Reader
I hope this book opens you to a new perspective, a new paradigm, and a new way of looking at the world. I hope it assists you to get past the mental and emotional blockages of anger, shame, denial, blame and guilt that the victim and the shadow mentalities create so you can see what else is possible.
For the Writer
I’m writing this book to serve as my own healing and joyful journey. I hope it serves as a guide to inspire those on the path who are where I was, those who are where I’m heading, and those of us traveling along the path together. I feel it’s the ultimate gift I can give my Earth family. It’s my highest experience and expression of LOVE. This heals me by the writing and hopefully inspires and enlightens you by the reading.
For the World
I hope this book contributes to a new dialog that helps to shift the current paradigm on how we see the Earth and her inhabitants, and brings us closer together by encouraging us to take a look at our shadow side. Through this book I want to assist in creating a world where people take responsibility for their actions, and are actually able to do so after gaining a higher understanding of how everything is interconnected and especially connected to G.O.D.
DeBorah Bellony
DeBorah Bellony is the founder of Who I Am Communications and she has a deep desire to motivate herself and other magnetic melanin aware light beacons to become better conscious co-creators of the life they desire while removing race, gender, and generational obstacles on the path to planetary oneness. Her greatest wounds involving racism, sexism, and ageism have over time transformed into her greatest gifts, allowing her to delve deep into the unknown to find the truth behind the veil of illusions.DeBorah says, "To be a light beacon that is magnetic and melanin aware, it doesn't matter if you are Black or White, male or female, young or old; because, when you honor the feminine and melanin within you, you help to bring yourself and the planet back into balance which is so needed at this time of planetary evolution."She is the author of Prayers of a Virgin: 52 Weeks of Poetic Inspiration and Personal Planetary Guidance with the Destiny Cards and the forthcoming book entitled It’s All G.O.Ø.D.: A Conscious Co-Creator’s Guide to Healing the Effects of White Supremacy

DEDICATION
* * * * * * *
First and foremost, this book is dedicated to my best friend Sharonda Caldwell, who always knew I had a book in me even before I did. Although it's not the longer work I'll eventually write, as they say in Jamaica, soon come.
I also dedicate this book to the memories of Jamilah Maat Nation (aka Donita Jones) and Mwalimu Changa (MC) Umoja. They were two Aquarian friends, two Aquarian healers who have made a difference in the lives of many, including my own. They were also two people whose persons served as the greatest testimony and mirror of what can happen to all healers when we don't face our deepest shadow to heal ourselves first.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
* * * * * * *
I'd like to thank my parents and ALL my friends and family who have served as an inspiration in the completion of this work; my mother Daisy (What's a bee without her wildflower?) whose advice, praise, and consul I could always depend on, my brother Richard who always provides a cheap airline ticket to Atlanta and a place to lay my head when I get there, my friend Scott, who has been a faithful and dependable moral and financial support for many years, my friends Carmen, Roberta and Matthew in Mexico, who all provided the connections and conditions for the peaceful birthplace of this book, my friend Akoben at geneticmemory.org for designing the book cover and Tony Sorhaindo and J. A. Hunt (aka Yemi) for graciously offering to help edit the latest edition. Last but not least, my second mama, BarbaraO, for the inspiration for doing my first silence fast, which gave birth to the initial conception of this book thirteen years ago. I'd also like to give a 'shout-out' to some of my most cherished friends and colleagues whose work and lives have served as an inspiration on my path—Greg Goodwin, Kevin Jackson, Hakim Bey, Audri Scott Williams, and Barbara Knight just to name a few. I love you all, including all those I haven't mentioned— Thank you.

INTRODUCTION

This book is the result of my efforts to complete a larger work, It's All G.O.Ø.D: A Conscious Co-Creator's Guide to Healing the Effects of White Supremacy (IAG). My blog, Coming Full Circle: Kickstarting a 13 Year Dream in 9 Months, had as its goal, to complete IAG by my best friend Sharonda's birthday on February 20th—the birthday of my best friend Sharonda, which I jokingly call the other 2012, that being the 20th day of the 12th month. I consider February, not December, as the 12th month of the year (see Book Preview).
Afraid Afraid of Our Own Shadow: A Manifesto and Guide for Conscious Co-Creation (AOOS) can be considered the meat of the message of my forthcoming work and covers the seven practical steps readers can take to become better conscious co-creators.
I have repurposed the content of this book so that it can also serve as part of my Shadow Manifesto.
AOOS addresses the timeliness and importance of facing and clearing our collective shadow of denial and victim consciousness. By sharing the suggested seven steps I've gleaned from personal life experiences, I will also touch on three societal wounds that can prevent conscious co-creation, as well as four pitfalls and how to overcome them.
IAG is more in-depth and covers in greater detail, my concept of creation and G.O.D. from an Astrological perspective. I'd like to share a condensed version with you as an overview.
Note to the Reader: I use the terms Creator of All There Is, Godsource, Divinity, and the Infinite interchangeably in this work. These terms all serve as a reference to a Higher Power that many refer to as God. My use of the term G.O.D. relates to this Higher Power being the Generator, Operator and Destroyer of all that is in existence. Also, my use of capital letters and quotation marks is in a class of its own, without rhyme or reason except to emphasize whatever is important for me to stress. I know this breaks some grammatical rules, but what the heck, all rules are eventually meant to be broken (smile). Lastly, ideas and concepts in this book are not necessarily meant to be politically correct, scientific, and/or factual.
