If you find this letter, it's 11:51 AM on October 31,2020. The United States has descended into a battle of good verse evil (which is defined by who has the largest flags, yard signs, etc). I'm undecided on which candidate is best for the economy, covid-19, domestic terrorism, national security, federal deficit and just general decency. It's so hard. If I don't survive the crossfire, just know that I left behind some 'ok' books on making money in the stock market. They should help you regardless of which flag you wave (I help everyone)...Tell my wife I love her. My cat Oodle-loo will need a good home. He likes tummy scratches.

In this book I will try to put forth a simple investment framework and mentality for investing $100, where to put it and why, and how long to leave it.

No company is worth $100. Better still, no company is worth my $100.

    My $100 is earned.

With over 6000 companies to chose from and the information overload compounded exponentially by the Internet it only makes it harder to pick that one company that will get my $100.

For my $100 I buy a responsibility and seek to make 100% back Plus my fees for buying and selling the stock ($7 on the buy side and $7 on the sell side). Which is $14 or $34 total.

I can make this two ways:

A: I can Sell my stock to someone else at a premium

B: I can clock dividend payments. Either way I will get this amount. Some companies will be a mix of one and the other.

I want to do the least amount of work to make this $34 dollars so I target value stocks.
