    sexually assaulted before they reach the age of eighteen. This statistic is widely known.
    Much less well-known is that one of every six BOYS is assaulted before reaching the age of sixteen. Male sexual assault was the world's best kept secret, that is, until a few brave men took the wraps off of several predatory priests in the Roman Catholic Church. The resulting scandal wasn't really about male sexual abuse, it was about the covert deviousness of the Catholic Church in protecting their sexual predators. Lost in the shuffle is the fact that virtually every case of sexual molestation by these degenerate clergymen was perpetrated on one or more young boys. And not just once; but over and over again until the boys were somehow able to break free. Now that the information is public other male survivors are coming forth to tell of their vile experiences, not just with members of the clergy, but friends, strangers and even family members.
    This book is for the purpose of allowing a few of these surviving victims to relate their experiences. This may serve as therapy to them, and it should-and must - serve as a wake-up call to the rest of us.
