About this ebook

Cinnamon Health Benefits is all about the fantastic spice cinnamon. You may already use it in your cooking, but what you may not realize is how much this simple spice can add to your health. Cinnamon has special properties that have been used in medicine for thousands of years. It can help people with many conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and can even be used to help lose weight.

These are just a few of the health conditions that cinnamon is thought to help with. This book details many other areas where cinnamon can be helpful. Add honey to your cinnamon and then you have two powerful substances that can work together in helping with your health problems. The ancient world knew what a superb substance cinnamon was and it is only now that modern medicine is catching up and recognising some of its health benefits. Other conditions where cinnamon may be helpful include diabetes, menopause, menstrual pain, toothache, gum disease and even cancer. Also detailed in the book are the few side effects that could occur with the over use of this spice.

Ellen Vincent was brought up in Ghana but now lives in the UK. She is interested in all things that are natural. Ellen has noticed that many of the cosmetics and treatments that are available in the West contain lots of artificial ingredients and are often based on oils and substances made from petro-chemicals. After comparing them with the kinds of things that she used in Ghana she has found that the petro-chemical based ones can cause irritations and bad reactions as well as not being as good as natural based products. She now extensively makes her own cosmetics and only uses the best natural ingredients that she can find.Back in the old country coconut oil use is widespread and is used in cooking as well as to make body creams. She uses virgin coconut oil to cook with and uses it as the base for many of her skin and hair creams and oils. Ellen now produces a range of natural cosmetics that she sells in her local area in the UK under the name of 'Natural Revelations'. She hopes that she will be able to introduce these to Ghana at some stage together with all of the books that she has written on natural healthy living.Dealing with the outside of your body is fine but, to make the most of the creams and oils that you apply, you need to make sure that the foods that you eat are also doing their job. She is a big fan of green smoothies and makes sure that she has these every day. She feels invigorated after drinking them. You should look out for Ellen's books on green smoothies which include a volume that just contains ideas for recipes. She has built up her vast collection of green smoothie recipes by experimentation and following good practice. In the UK she came across apple cider vinegar and has found that this too is very useful when it comes to treating your skin and keeping your body healthy. She was so amazed by the many uses that can be found for apple cider vinegar that she wrote a book all about it. This too will soon be available through Smashwords. If you want to find out about how using a range of natural ingredients can be so good for your body and health, then you really should read Ellen's books. These are available in both electronic formats and as paperbacks. She is hoping to produce a book specifically for the care of Black hair and skin and as a result you should watch out for this when it is actually published in the near future.
