    Foreword

Why are we as human beings so embarrassed about some of our simple body functions? Gas and heartburn are two things that we are so embarrassed about. It brings to mind a running commercial that is on TV now for a gas medicine. The young man is in an office and a woman is interviewing him. He is fidgeting all over his chair and has this look of distress on his face. He turns from the woman and pops a gas pill in his mouth, and when he turns back around to face the woman, he now has a relaxed easy smile on his face. He is so afraid he is going to poot or let out a lot of wind and that he is going to be so embarrassed over this natural bodily function.

Have you ever been in a similar situation? You have a lot of gas and are in a crowded room with lots of people. You hold it as long as you can but then, all of sudden, there it goes, that loud poot. You look around innocently as if looking for someone to blame as the room fills up with this horrendous smell. You feel as if all eyes are on you and you are so embarrassed. We are going to delve into why we have this gas and heartburn and see how we are going to cure it once and for all.

Are you suffering from frequent heartburn? Are you tired of all those ads that promise fast relief but really don't work? Have you taken a heartburn relief medicine and wondered why your heartburn keeps coming back? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are not alone. So much of the American population is suffering daily with the horrible side effects of heartburn. Don't be embarrassed by this stomach burning, gas forming, and belching-causing condition. The best thing to cure any problem or health condition is education.

In this book, we are going to delve
