    Dr. Eade has a BA in economics from Central Washington University, an MBA in business administration from the University of Utah, and a PhD in higher education econometrics from the University of Washington. His professional career has included being an Air Force Squadron Commander, a Chief Fiscal Officer, a college Vice President, and the Commandant of a leadership academy. He has taught college classes in both management and finance. As a management consultant he trained managers and was a keynote speaker at various conventions. Dr. Eade is also an experienced poker player, a snowbird, a golfer, a motorcycle rider, and an author.

      Introduction

      What may appear initially to be a work of fiction is actually the description of a scientifically designed and patented system to produce synthetic gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel from carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and electricity. The carbon dioxide is scrubbed from the atmosphere, the hydrogen is extracted from water, and the electricity is produced from the high energy waves located in the open ocean. When the water is separated into hydrogen and oxygen, the oxygen is vented out into the atmosphere.

      Let’s take a look at our lifestyle checklist for this system. First, we have a growing global demand for hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel. At the same time we have a shrinking supply of the crude oil from which these fuels are currently made. Second, we have an over abundance of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere and oceans which is posing a threat to sea life and causing global warming. Third, as we eliminate large sections of forest around the globe, we reduce the amount of plant life which absorbs carbon dioxide and emits the oxygen that all of us need to breath. Fourth, we have an over abundance of water as our polar ice caps shrink and the oceans raise and eliminate large sections of our current land mass. Fifth, because of our growing demand and shrinking supply for crude oil, we are spending an ever increasing amount of our disposable income on gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel. Sixth, a growing portion our current land mass is being consumed by those systems which harvest fossil fuels from conventional crude oil, shale oil, tar sands and coal deposits. Seventh, even those renewable sources of energy such as biofuel crops, wind farms, solar farms, and coastal wave farms consume our land mass and ruin the aesthetic beauty of the landscape. Eighth, the devastation to the environment and economy when crude oil is spilled into the ocean is much more obtrusive than what would be caused by the hydrocarbon fuels produced by our system. We feel that our Orca Wave Energy System™ avoids or helps to eliminate these problems.

      What we then have is a non-polluting synthetic fuel which can be used in our existing vehicles at a cost below what it would cost to produce gasoline from crude oil. In the chapters which follow you will find how this system works and how it could improve our economy, environment, and lifestyle. This information is presented in very user friendly non-technical language.
