- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Pop Hadyn (my older and less good looking brother) has been a street performer of magic for many years. He has specialized in performing on street corners, in bars, and at fairs, showing magic tricks with coins, rings, cards and glasses to passers-by and bar customers. His book is filled with stories and instructions on how to become a profitable street performer. Pop shows how to stop foot traffic at street corners, trade shows and other public places, how to collect and interest a crowd into watching his tricks, and how to get them to pay off in tips with real folding money.Although this book is aimed at street performers, anyone interested in the psychology of crowd control, non-verbal communication and cold sales will be fascinated with the tales and descriptions of how to stop, hold and win a crowd of people who are not there originally to see your show. The stories of his experiences are interesting and fun, and this is an excellent addition to any library of materials on magic, acting techniques, crowd control and to be honest, becoming a grifter. Buy this book! You will be glad you did!
