Introduction: A Busy Mom's Dilemma
Sure, you remember the days when you could strap on our running shoes, and head out of your dorm rooms, apartments, and houses for a long run, without having to schedule a sitter, or time yourself to the minute to make sure you return home in a timely fashion was not exceeded. Now that your lives are completely different, and leaving the house for any purpose is a scheduled event, it does not mean that you cannot continue to run in between diaper changes and taxi service pick-ups! It is simply a matter of fitting running into the hectic lives busy mom’s lead, and this quick ebook guide has a few solutions for making it all happen.
Getting Started
There are a variety of mothers in this world, and they each have to contend with the busy schedule that comes with raising children. New moms have to work their lives around feedings, diaper changes and sleeping adjustments, while seasoned moms who have several kids deal with differing school calendars, and activities day in and day out. Some have to balance their careers with their home lives, and some are handed the duty of fulfilling both parenting roles on their own. No matter which category you fall into, there is a way to enhance your physical well-being through running.
Before you run out and buy new tennis shoes, sit down and determine exactly what you are going to accomplish by running. Are you interested in losing weight? Do you want to add tone to your physique, while increasing your fitness level? Do you simply want to become more mobile and healthy? All of these are great reasons and great motivators for getting started.
Next, think about any and all free time you have during the day. Busy moms are aware of every movement within their home, whether it is their significant others’ travel schedule, or their kids’ after school activities, homework assignments and social lives, so it should not take much to know when you have some spare time throughout the week. If necessary, write down your daily activities, and look for windows of spare time within certain days. All you will need is twenty to thirty minutes,
