it is springtime in kaiamaville and very hot indeed. aaron apple is sitting under the largest apple tree in his orchard and is worried because his apples aren't growing properly. he needs them to grow (so that the people of kaiamaville can get their daily vitamins, to keep healthy). but this won't happen, until his orchard gets watered (which is something he cannot do alone). so aaron plans to look for the fair weather cloud, mr cumulus, until his good mate billy bean arrives and informs him that mr cumulus has gone away and mrs nimbostratus (the dark rain carrying cloud) is coming instead. aaron therefore has to wait for her and hopes she will reach kaiamaville before his apples can no longer be saved. now whilst aaron waits he introduces the reader to some of his friends; shows you the importance of rain water; the vitamins you get from an apple and what these vitamins actually do for the body; plus you'll also see him talk with the elements.
First of all I would like to acknowledge and thank Jehovah God for bringing me thus far. I love the Lord deeply and although I know within my heart of hearts that mentioning him on here, could really go against me, it is a risk that I am gladly prepared to take (cause a woman's got to do what a woman's got to do).
Now it's like the heading says, JM Carydice's Biography, meaning: information about me and not no one else, therefore if I am to write something serious about me then I feel compelled to tell you that God (without the shadow of a doubt) is very significant in my life.
A lot of the time, many of us feel, if we show our true selves, we may get rejected. Still, my response to that is if JK Rowling didn't believe in doing it JK Rowling's way, then Harry Potter might just have remained a dream (and no, I a not comparing myself to this genius, I am merely just using her has an example).
Now, because I know there is so much more to me than just my religious beliefs, I am not in any way going to deny or exclude God from my biography. If I did that, then it would mean I should also have to hide myself, for I know no life without the creator and I'm not about to disown the one thing that gave our family strength and solace when we were in need.
I been visiting God's house from the time I was in my mother's womb, so I feel proud to say I love and need God indefinitely.
Now if anyone chooses to condemn or ignore me, on the mere grounds that I believe in God's supremeness, then let it be.
Right, seeing as that is over with, let me tell you a little more about me: Jennifer Marie Carydice,
I am the fourth child of six siblings and although life for my family was never easy, their were things that we never ever went without, like a roof over our head, a clean home, food on our table, clothes on our backs and lots and lots of love: All courtesy of my darling dearest mother 'Mrs Daisy May.'
I had a pleasant upbringing, being blessed with such a wonderful mother even though my father (who never came on this earth to stay for very long) sadly passed away unexpectedly at the tender age of 36 and when I was still only six years old.
This left my mother with no choice but to raise her very demanding children single handedly, which she did extremely well, considering some of us give her a fight. Mother worked real hard to ensure we were all provided for and sacrificed so much of her own needs and wants to make sure we were happy. So to this day I honour that women with the respectful title of being my absolute role model and idol.
Where my book is concerned, I had always loved writing but 'Aaron Apple and the Rain' is my first and only publication (to date). It is part of a compilation I am creating about the alphabetical fruit and veg bunch and I have already completed three other books in the series (which are currently pending illustrations) and am now working on book 5.
I decided to write a children's book first because although I studied and worked in business administration, I've actually spent more time (that is over thirty years) caring for kids (both professionally and privately) therefore I feel, I have a very good understanding of the things children enjoy doing and how they like to learn.
I am as well in the process of writing two novels one called 'Olivia McCarthy' which I hope to complete by September '14 and the other is 'Never Judge a Book' (which is my baby) and I've set no deadline for this one's completion, as yet.
However for now all I do is hope. Hope that my children's book (which is an excellent story/educational book for ages 5-10 year old's) is well received and appreciated, as I will never give up on my dreams (and Neither Should You).
Hope you enjoyed learning a little about me cause 'That's all folks!. .
Time to head off and create some more herstory.
