Reviews for Good News Bible

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5IF YOU SAVE YOU CANNOT READ OFF LINE
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Although much easier to read than other versions of the BIble, this one strips a great deal of the poetry, and also finds it necessary to change some of the words and phrases to make them more palatable to modern audiences.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5An enjoyable translation for Bible reading/study. I did feel the clear modern day communication of thoughts. I especially enjoyed using this for musing the Proverbs and Psalms.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A simple translation but not a paraphrase. We call it the Stick Person Bible because of the illustrations. This was the Bible our church gave to all the second-graders.
