Book Reviews
A unique book which uses multiple voices to reflect on the implementation of Educational strategies for ICT in education. Although much is said and written on ICT, this book is the first of its kind that sets the benchmark for School education. This book provides an accessible means of getting an insider’s perspective. These series of chapters highlight the quiet revolution that has started occurring in schools. This book highlights the multifaceted nature of the ICT journey from infrastructure to the importance of the individual teacher and student. I highly recommend this book for policy makers through to classroom teachers.

A handy, highly informative and resourceful book not only for the craving teacher who intends using such tools in the classroom for a better presentation but also for the parent community who can make use of the information for developing their children’s understanding of science/maths concepts going over the online/offline simulations/softwares besides equipping them with various skills.

In this 21st century, we need technology in every classroom because the technology based education applications provide one and all so much ease, comfort and productivity which are incomparable. At this point of time, change is necessary to engage students not in the curriculum but wherever it is possible - in school, classroom or outside classroom. Education apps are not about the technology but about learning, creativity, communication, collaboration with world's learners, productivity and we need to equip with these very much in this competitive 21st century and this book is a perfect example telling all teachers & students which types of apps are good & how they can utilize them. A Must read.

The book has come out really well and is very much on time as India takes to mobile calling / net usage to the next level.
What appeals me most is the simplicity of the author's writing. He has provided direct sites and references which would help the teachers wishing to go online sooner than later.
I wish the author all the good wishes to continue the good works.

I deem it a great honour for having been given a privelege to pen a ‘foreword’ to this piece of precious content higly informative, profound and service oriented to that section of the society who behind the scenes are the makers of the nation, and nation builders, but who are remeberd only once in an year on 5th september.
This contribution however is aimed at a noble cause for a noble profession to enhance the quality of their interaction, quality of their involvement and also to enhance the quality of their satisfaction by utilizing the resources available out in the public domain and for free. This, i am certain, will optimize our teacher lot keeping them abreast with the latest know-how of their profession. I am also sure, the present day teachers shall enliven their classroom interaction and provide impetus to their own effort through this collection by the utilization of horizons of knowledge out in the clouds as it were.
With my warm compliments and best wishes.
