    Megan White is a young naive girl, desperate to escape the illicit drug scene. Wanting to make a better life for herself and perhaps even make an impression on the world to help others, she becomes entrapped within a large evangelical church. Despite the infidelity and hypocrisy she witnesses amongst the leadership she finds it difficult to escape. Yet how can she reconcile the behaviour she witnesses in the leadership when it is in direct contrast with what they so aggressively teach and enforce from the platform? Beyond Belief provides a shocking insight into the machinations of a large fundamentalist church and takes a confronting look at the risk of passionately holding onto your beliefs despite contrary evidence before you. Megan embarks upon a journey of continual conflict, personal tragedy and pain as she tries to maintain her beliefs in the seemingly unreachable ideology, Christianity.
    You cannot help but grow from reading this true story.
    This is Margôt's story, though written in a narrative form. The names of characters, organisations and some of the places have been changed to enable Margot to go back in time. She wanted to probe deeply into her past to understand why she had kept so many secrets and confidences to protect powerful people who were behaving in devastatingly hypocritical ways. Beyond Belief was her time to share them, to expose the truth.
    Some of the characters have been blended and timelines compressed to aid the story telling and to ensure that Beyond Belief is a fast-paced easy-to-read tale.
    Readers have found the narrative compelling and some readers reported reading it one sitting! This work is a journey through the late 1970's and early 1980's.

    Having left my IT consultancy business to run a cattle station in 2008, I am pursuing a new career in creative writing. After completing my Master of Arts (Writing), I self-published Beyond Belief in print in 2013 and as an eBook in 2014. A second edition was published in June 2016. My second manuscript Mind Minders was shortlisted (one of three) for the Horizon Publishing Group's Outstanding Literary Awards 2013/14. A publishing contract was offered, but I did not accept it. This manuscript is still looking for a publisher. My third major work is fantasy ... about Zãnians, little people who live in the Australian bush. This work is inspired by the environment in which I live. Writing is my passion. I love the creative process though it is painful and difficult at times. I read to be challenged and therefore my goal in writing is to challenge my readers, to encourage them to think about the world in new ways. I'm interested in philosophy, religion and its power in the world, exercise, fitness, adventure hiking and basically living life to the fullest!
