About this ebook

What's Wrong with School?

Many experts over the years say everything!

This book is my personal research into schools. I'm not an academic nor am I an expert on education. I taught preschool and kindergarten, I co-founded a Waldorf School, I homeschooled my children and then unschooled my children and came to the conclusion that the less interference from outside forces, the better for kids.

Instilling a Lifelong Love of Learning

That's really all that is required to set your children on a course that will benefit them more than any dry curriculum, outdated lecture or work out textbook can do. Children are curious by nature and allowing them their curiosity - and supporting it by providing resources is the best course for them to grow into self-directed and responsible adults.

The Proof Is In the Pudding

Kytka Hilmar-Jezek writes and speaks about parenting, unschooling, education, entrepreneurship, and natural healing. She's is the author of over 25+ books, owner of 3 publishing houses and has been listed in the Alternative Education Hall of Fame since 1996. Her children are now 23, 17 and 15. They all have their own businesses and are young entrepreneurs. They have spoken to large groups, acted as leaders and mentors and most of all, are happy and lead productive lives. I feel they are ready for any changes that technology and the world will throw at them. Isn't that what it's really all about?

Chapters Include:

An informative and interesting book that has me interested in finding out more - which will be easy thanks to the links and further reading ideas. This version needs another edit as there are numerous typos.
