About this ebook
The Doctor Is In . . . Again!
Did the mega-bestselling Why Do Men Have Nipples? exhaust your curiosity about stuff odd, icky, kinky, noxious, libidinous, or just plain embarrassing? No, you say? Well, good, because the doctor and his able-bodied buddy are in! Again! Mark Leyner and Billy Goldberg, M.D., now take on the differences between the sexes—those burning questions like Why doesn’t my husband ever listen? or Why does my wife ALWAYS have to pee? And of course, Why do men fall asleep after sex?, plus plenty of others to keep you fully informed.
Full of smart and funny answers to an onslaught of new questions, all in a do-ask-we’ll-tell spirit that entertain and teaches you something at the same time, Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex? offers the real lowdown on everything everyone wants to know about all things anatomical, medical, sexual, nutritional, animal, and mineral, but would only ask a physician after a few too many, like:
• Why do you have a “bionic” sense of smell when you’re pregnant?
• Does peeing in the shower cure athlete’s foot?
• Is a dog’s mouth clean?
• Can you breastfeed with fake boobs?
• Does thumb sucking cause buckteeth?
• Do your eyebrows grow back if shaved?
Bigger, funnier, and better than ever, Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex? proves that in the battle of the sexes, as in most things, a little Q&A is a safe, effective, minimally invasive remedy.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5First off, this is not a book I would normally read. The hubby picked it out and so I thought why not? I struggled to get thru this book. There were a few parts that I thought were funny but I felt like it read like a health book written by 2 high school/college frat boys. I almost gave up on it. I give it 2 points because there was a slight few parts that I laughed at.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Very cute and funny, but more of something you flip through real quick while you're bored than a concentrated, interesting read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5"Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex?: More Questions You'd Only Ask a Doctor After Your Third Whiskey Sour" is the second book by Mark Leyner and Dr Billy Goldberg. It's just as funny as the first one and the cover question is certainly one that we've probably all wondered about even if we never actually put it into words. There is, naturally, a medical answer to this question, but I won't give it away. Suffice to say that it's not ALL their fault! Here's a few more, er...interesting questions: "What is that sound a vagina makes after sex?" "Does that black stuff athletes wear under their eyes really stop sun glare?" and one of my favorites "Why don't men listen"...the last one, I'm convinced, IS all their fault!Another book chock full of humor and knowledge, and yes, I did let my teenagers read this one too.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Answers to weird medical questions, not that I could tell you anything I read in there now though. Oh well, it was interesting at the time.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The follow-up to "Why do Men Have Nipples?" Again, lots of interesting and funny questions and facts. And this time, the IM banter was even MORE annoying (as if such a thing was possible). They just thought they were so funny last time, they'd take it to the next level. Skip the therapy sessions and IM and you'll enjoy this book.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Not half as funny as the authors apparently think. It would be a whole lot funnier if they weren't obviously trying so hard. Good information wise, but the "humor" was at times grating. The email segments between the two authors was totally redundant also.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Humorous look at the things we are curious about but would never ask.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5As called to my attention by lorilori and recommended by bedsitter23, the latter of whom notified me that the Mark Leyner listed as co-author was THAT Mark Leyner, who wrote the brilliant novels My Cousin, My Gastroenterologist, Et Tu, Babe, and The Tetherballs of Bougainville. I never would have made the connection, so it was nice to have that pointed out. Great for fans of medical trivia and Leyner’s offbeat humor. And yes, I learned a lot about my bodily functions.
