An Idea's Worth
For the newbie entrepreneur, the first step into entrepreneurship is a frightening one. We’ve all been there, the “big idea” From my own experience where I've wasted more then $10k on legal protection and hundreds of hours of time, constructing plan, business plans, and sketching out and writing up everything. I would advise you to consider my struggles and what I learned. I too, had a GREAT idea, I worked hard on it, even took several months to construct a business plan around it. I set up a corporation and spent ridiculous amounts of money to construct a strong legal foundation behind the idea. I did all this to protect my “intellectual baby”...never realizing that after all this time, effort and money.... all that I really had was just an idea. So, how much is an idea worth... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Until it is manifested or produces some money an idea is worth ziltch. The true value in a idea is the person behind it. It is YOU not the idea that will be the success or failure.
