elcome to the December issue of . 2008 is almosthere and it's amazing to think that we've been doing this nowfor just over eight months. I remember saying in an IRCmeeting for issue two or three that I'd be delighted if we make it toissue five. We did, and I am!When I put that initial post up on Ubuntu Forums asking for help inmaking an Ubuntu magazine I never, , thought it would beanywhere near as popular as it is. Each month we serve upapproximately 30,000 copies of FCM and that's not even counting thetranslations! I want to thank all of you who take the time to downloadand read FCM and contribute with letters and articles, it really couldn'tcome together without all the input we receive.I also want to thank all the FCM team, in particular Robert Clipshamand Rob Kerfia who have been my henchmen since day one. Withouttheir support and guidance this magazine would certainly never havehappened!
