Benjamin Vogt is the author of AFTERIMAGE: POEMS (SFA Press, Spring 2012), WITHOUT SUCH ABSENCE: POEMS (Finishing Line Press), and the memoir SLEEP, CREEP, LEAP: THE FIRST THREE YEARS OF A NEBRASKA GARDEN. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in both poetry and creative nonfiction, and an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University. He’s received several grants, awards, and fellowships for his writing, including a Vermont Studio Center fellowship and nominations for a Pushcart Prize.
Work has recently appeared in American Life in Poetry, Crab Orchard Review, Diagram, Hayden’s Ferry Review, ISLE, Puerto del Sol, Orion, Subtropics, The Sun, and Verse Daily.
