Never forget the founders!
In late 1974, proessional waterskier Je Jobe was chilling at home. The weather wasn’t quite good that day, so waterskiing wasn’t an op-tion or Je. With a nice cold beer, he took the time to philosophizeabout his uture dreams. As always, the same dream came up in hismind, developing a water ski with his own name on it! He was a wellknown watersports man, but that wasn’t enough or him. He was al- ways dreaming about his own brand. And on that day, late in 1974… he decided to wake up rom his dream, and start to realize his goal. With all his savings he built new mouldsand a manuacturing plant in Kirkland to create his own ski. Ater aperiod o producing blood, sweat and tears Je realised somethinghe dreamed about since he was in diapers; the rst Jobe ski! He calledit the Jobe Honeycomb and built it in two sizes, 65” and 67”.The ski was an immediate success, and that was only the beginningo a true Jobe era! Je Jobe made it possible, to commit many skilegends to his brand. Names like; Bob LaPoint, Glenn Thurlow, JohnReichard and Marco Merlon all skied many years on a Jobe ski.In the early 80’s Jobe starts to dominate this part o the market, andsince that, the brand has grown stately! For a long time now, Jobeisn’t a specic waterski brand anymore. Jobe is developed into a wellappreciated watersports brand in the biggest orm you can think o.From waterskis to tubes, rom wakeboards to wetsuits, Jobe is there or you! We will continue to develop this brand in the train o thought as JeJobe did; Living the dreams, don’t wait until tomorrow!
Jobe, a brand with history!
Since 2004 Jobe has got a little brother called Jstar. This watersportbrand was born to provide the higher segment o the wakeboardscene with high quality products. Because Jobe is an all round wa-tersports brand, Jstar is developed to ll in the remaining space. Thebirth o the Jstar brand was not just the start o a new wakeboardbrand, it was the beginning o a completely new operating procedu-re. Jstar distinguishes hersel rom all the other wakeboard brands by giving young talented riders the opportunity to become a Pro. Current wakeboard icons like Rusty Malinoski, Keith Lyman and Tino Santoriall began their career on a Jstar board. With combining talented riders and established names o the scenein one team, Jstar is realising her ultimate goal ; Raising the overalllevel o the sport! As much as we want to develop the Jobe brand, we want to developthe Jstar brand as well! With the same dreams and the same moti- vations.
Cause please, let one thing be clear;Jstar and Jobe are two inseparable brothers!
