Status of Team:Signed up: 9Volunteers: 32. Finances:In treasury: $2,041.69 This is enough to pay for next year’s registration and motel.We also have some donations designated for Komen Foundation.Donations for the team should be made out to “Christine’s Dream” and are not tax deductible.Additional fundraising: donations should be made out to Komen Foundation directly for a taxdeduction. The American Cancer Society is the designated charity for HTC, and team memberscan raise or donate money. Stickers will be given again for race bibs for donations to ACS of $20.00 or more.For a $200 donation, a donor can have his/her name on the back of the shirt, and for a $300donation a company logo. Judy needs to know about donors and have logos by the July meetingat the latest.3. Shirts: Judy brought several sizes in the new style of dry-mesh T-shirt, which we are orderingin the silver color.4. Vans: Larry Miller Honda in Forest Grove has to provide the vans for our team again.5. Dinner after race: Sharon says that Terri & Steve are planning a Western dinner for us thisyear. We can each donate about $10 at the dinner to help cover expenses.6. Motel: We have 2 rooms, sleeping 4 each.7. Van Decorating: Thursday, August 26 at 4:30 PM at Southminster Presbyterian Church on thecorner of Hall and Denney Rd. in Beaverton. Address is: 12250 SW Denney Rd. Afterward,we’ll go to Red Robin for lunch.8. Leg Assignments: We decided on our preferred vans and legs. Van 1: Karen, Judy, Helen,and Nancy. Van 2: Katie, Marilyn, Jane, and Pat. Sharon will drive whichever van she wants toand be a back-up walker.8. Next meeting: Sunday, August 22, at 4:00 PM at Katie Simpson’s. We’ll make it a potluck again. At this meeting we’ll hand out t-shirts and plan last minute details.
